This year's Rex Porter Rally will be held on Saturday the 4th of October. Here's a link to the sign-up for members of the WaiVCC who would like to participate.
We are looking for few people who can help with timekeeping on the day. There will be 3 time checks, 2 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. We also need help to set several “silent checks”
If you are keen to help out in any of the above roles, or in the organising stages, please contact Simon O’Hara, either by phone on 0211412332, or email: simonsandieohara@gmail.com
Simon and the WaiVCC Branch will be grateful for any help offered.
The Wairarapa Vintage Car Club Daffodil Day Motor Show at Masterton Motorplex was held on Sunday, August 24. The weather was perfect and a big crowd turned out to see more than 200 entries. Many people paid to sign up in one of the 14 categories on the day, and all of the proceeds went to the Wairarapa Cancer Society. Scroll down to the Events section to see some pictures from the event.

Special thanks to Fagan Motors, who supplied mains power all day to run our equipment via their new PHEV Ranger, and Wiz Wireless, who provided a temporary internet connection for the day.
